Fred is a principle driven person, with diverse interests in business, communications and technology. He melds his executive, people and project management background with 15 years of enterprise technology experience and a passion for social media to deliver real and attainable actions and strategies for businesses, organizations and individuals to use in engaging their communities and building stronger relationships.

Fred founded SocialMediaAZ.org, the driving force behind the premier Social Media for Business event. He is active with several organizations including the Business Marketing Association, Phoenix Innovation Foundation, Ignite, and the Arizona Interactive Marketers Association. Fred is also a managing partner with Web3Mavens, LLC. a company specializing in helping companies use new technologies and media techniques to maximize returns.  As well as starting a technology incubator (LaunchSpot) in Tempe along with a co-working space in Tempe.

Born in Sweden, but raised in the US, he’s a Naturalized US Citizen. Fred enjoys traveling, biking, hiking, pyrotechnics, blogging, water sports, improv comedy, snowboarding, photography, videography, reading, SCUBA, continuous improvement / learning and especially spending time with his amazing wife and son. He is a den leader for the scouts, volunteers with family to help local organizations and financially gives back to the community through his ventures.
